Our increased growth in this specialized market has created a demand for additional staffing. Career oriented candidates with a desire to learn all facets of artisanal butchering operation at our USDA Meat Processing Plant are encouraged to apply.
Monday through Friday, 7 am-3:30 pm, full time.
6 month training program. .
Duties: Slaughter, meat processing, clean up and maintaining working conditions to our high USDA standards.

Positive attitude, willingness to learn, customer-service orientation, desire to perform at a caliber necessary to satisfy our high level customers.
Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly, bend, reach, and stand for long periods.
Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions from rain to mid-summer heat.
No drug use or alcohol consumption while on premises
A valid driver’s license is required.
Apprentice will have the opportunity to learn aspects of the farm from livestock care, to slaughtering/butchering, to special events. While working closely with the experienced personnel much of the time, they will also have independent responsibilities. Farm operators are experienced educators and mentors.
Stipend: Starting salary commensurate with experience; will increase with acquisition of skills and knowledge.
